Tulle Cape and Fluttery Cutaway Details

The last few days I have had to get real with myself. I am working on making three collections (one for the store, one for a fashion show soon and one for a fashion show down the line) and also trying to write and offer tutorials or insight to making garments. On top of living in a house with too many people and gasping for a moment alone, these things get to be a lot. Take this moment to have some compassion with yourself if you are like me and love to take on more than you can process and then wonder why you're overwhelmed. It will all work out if you keep working on it, I promise.

This is a shirt from a piece of a tulle Cape I was making that I accidentally sewed an entire panel backwards. Due to the nature of this technique it is easier to just remake the panel than to try and rip off a shredded piece of fabric and reapply it correctly. So this shirt is a happy mistake. It's itchy but definitely interesting.
