I made this as I was deciding to leave my moms house on Labor Day. I don't know how it's going to go but it should be a blast! I think leaps of random faith and discomfort are necessary for growth so I'm gonna go for it. The plan is to basically mosey on south as it gets colder and live at inspiring beautiful natural places along the way by means of camping. I'm just at a point in my life where I know what brings me peace and what is necessary and what is getting in my way because of attachments; however, I have never taken the leap to see what could happen if I push my comfort zones. With all of that being said, let me know if you want me to travel by you and enjoy this diy on how to make these booty shorts.
Find a knit fabric you like. Lay it double layer with the right sides of the fabric facing out. Measure around your upper thigh and that is the width you will need.
Lay your measuring tape down like so, about 5 inches away from the edge and cut in a few inches toward the measuring tape at the 0inch and (1/2 waist measurement) - mine is 16 because my waist is 32.
Now move your measuring tape about 9-10inches from the edge and to the right 2 inches.
cut down towards the 0inch mark and the inch measurement of your thigh (mine was 20)
Now you'll have your legs, finish the edges, add elastic if you want extra support, layer fabrics, add beads, have fun.
